It brings me great joy to extend my congratulations to the Eastern Bar Forum (EBF) on the occasion of their Quarterly Meeting.
The meeting which commenced on the 18th through 19th of August 2023 at Garden City Port Harcourt has produced Aniekan Akpan, Governor General of EBF and K.I Onwusi as Secretary General.

EBF is the representative body for legal professionals from the South-South and South-East geopolitical regions of Nigeria, it offers a valuable opportunity for the members to engage and discuss matters pertinent to the legal profession and welfare of its member branches, dispensation of justice. Furthermore, it also provides a platform through which EBF can showcase its achievements, navigate challenges, and present prospects Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) community and the general public.

I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to His Excellency, Aniekan Akpan and the new brand Exco. My governor, With your acceptance speech, I am confident that the Eastern Bar Forum will continue to flourish under your astute guidance.
